The course initiates students into the principles and practices
of advanced accounting and the dynamics of management, together
with marketing, banking, auditing, company law, secretarial
practice and allied disciplines.
This degree is designed to develop excellent analytical skills,
which are invaluable to decision-making, and also to further
study.
This course grooms students for being an analyst in a finance
institution. You can build a career as a finance manager;
stockbroker or investment banker. You can be a corporate consultant
or work in the financial services industry including Insurance
and Government Finance Regulatory agency. Students can consider
an academic career in finance. It also provides excellent
insight for students who plan to enter business themselves
by helping them plan their finance and investment portfolios.
Duration
B.Com degree is extended over a period of three academic years,
with each academic year comprising of 2 semesters.
