Mechanical
Engineering is concerned with the
production, transmission and use of mechanical
power and heat. It is the largest branch of
the engineering industry extending across many
interdisciplinary, interdependent specialties.
It is concerned with the design, operation
and maintenance of machines, their components,
machine tools, manufacturing systems and processes,
components of thermal power stations, solar
energy, air conditioning and refrigeration
and industrial engineering.
