Course Duration
The Course shall be of four academic years duration and conducted in 8 semesters with each semester having a duration of 16 weeks.
 
Eligibility for admission
Pass in 10+2 / PUC with 45% marks aggregate with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory Subjects or a Pass in 3Years Diploma in Technical Education recognized by Department of Technical Education.
 
Qualifying examinations
• Karnataka State Pre-University Board examination / CBSE / ICSE Board examination

• Any other equivalent examination approved by the Visvesvaraya Technological University.

As a branch of engineering, a course in Electronics and Communication to impart up to date technical knowledge and skills and produce well-qualified engineers in areas of Electronics and Communication Engineering, who will make qualitative difference in this field.

Students acquire in-depth technical knowledge and practical application skills in all disciplines of Electronics and Communication Engineering. Computer technology, experimental investigation and ability to understand and solve industrial problems are other areas of development.
