Course Duration
The duration of the course shall be four academic years and conducted in 8 semesters with each semester having a duration of 16 weeks.
 
Eligibility for admission
The applicant should have passed Karnataka 2nd PUC / 12th std or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer science / Electronics as optional subjects and obtained a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects. In case of candidates belonging to SC / ST / other backward classes, the minimum marks for the purpose of eligibility will be 45% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects in the qualifying examination.

Objectives
Go beyond the curriculum and provide information on latest trends in the field of Computer Science and its applications
Create interest and encourage innate talents and capabilities in developing programs, projects
Bridge the gap between curriculum and industry through special advanced programme like VB Net, Red Hat, Course in Oracle, ASP.net.
The forum organizes National Level Technical and Cultural Programmes with other IT departments. Students from all over the country participate.
