The
practical classes conducted in the Electrical
Laboratories aim at making the student comprehend
the different and difficult theories developed
over the years.
The associated labs are: Power Electronics Lab,
Microcontroller Lab, Measurements & Simulation
Lab, Transformers & Induction Machines Lab,
Control Systems Lab, High Voltage Lab &
Power System Simulation Lab. Students here are
trained in the practical aspects of electrical
and electronics and are exposed to the most
fundamental basics and the student learns a
number of software packages like C, C++, Unix,
PSPICE, MATLAB (Simulink), VHDL, and Embedded
Systems, which gives him an additional knowledge.
The consultancy works are also taken up in these
laboratories
