The
Computer Science and Engineering Department
currently houses state of the art PC labs. The
laboratories are furnished ergonomically to
ensure that students have a comfortable lab
experience. All labs are equipped with LCD projectors
and other modern instruction delivery mechanisms.
PCs are connected to a 5MBPS broadband Internet
Connection. In addition to the PCs, the CSE
lab also houses seven servers with various configurations
to support varied activities in our college.
The department also houses an IBM web server
with enhanced security features. The PCs are
loaded with the state of the art operating systems
and other allied application software programs
to support the university curriculum. In addition
to the software prescribed the university, most
of the computers also have the latest versions
of Linux installed on them. Students are also
permitted to install authorized software to
facilitate their final year projects.
