The school has a big playground for children in addition to facilities for indoor games. The playground also has a Basketball & Volleyball court of international standard.

For the enjoyment of younger children, the school has a play area with a host of equipments such as Slides, Swings, Joy Wheel, Parallel Bars, Rope Climbing and Sand pit.

Older children who are inclined towards sporting activities are trained under professional coaches in athletics, karate, yoga, and the team games. Specially trained teachers coach the children in Volleyball and Basketball games.

To inculcate a healthy spirit of competition while regulating school activities, students are divided into 4 houses named after the legendary Greek Gods - Apollo, Hercules, Venus & Zeus.

The school offers special scholarships to students who excel in sports, cultural and literary activities.

Scouts and Guides
This is a movement of national, internationals and universal character, the object being to empower the youth with physial, moral and spiritual strength. The NHPS Scouts and Guides Wing has won national awards for its excellent performance at the national level.
