The
name New Horizon is written in letters of gold in
the Sports field; they emerge as the champions on
the field, be it basketball or atheletics!
The
New Horizon Public School (SSLC), has over the years
excelled in sports and extra-curriculur activities.
The school has many promising and budding sports stars
who constantly qualify themselves to participate in
team events at the national level. The volleyball
team has won name and fame with its glorious victories
at the state level and the national level. Equally
outstanding is the achievement of the basketball team
in inter-school tournaments.
Students
who are inclined towards sporting activities are trained
under professional coaches in athletics, karate, yoga,
aerobics, and the team games. Specially trained teachers
coach the children in volleyball and basketball games.
The
school is not behind in other extra-curriculur activities
too; the art and craft classes conducted by the school

Apart

guides wing under the care and supervision of an experienced
teacher, inculcating in the young minds the value
of service. The NHPS (SSLC) Scouts and Guides Wing
has won national awards for its excellent performance
at the national level.
