GRADUATION DAY
"To meet, to know, to love and then to part is the sad tale of many a human heart"

The students of New Horizon Junior College were bid adieu in a grand farewell function on February 6, 2008. They were showered with the blessings of Swami Sukhabodhananda who enlightened them on Ananda Lahiri, Prema Lahiri and Soundarya Lahiri. He also encouraged them to love their lives.

SPORTS DAY CELEBRATION
Annual Sports Meet was held on December 12, 2007. A wide plethora of events, both indoor and outdoor were organized and received with lot of enthusiasm by the students. Girls not only excelled in athletic events but also participated with zeal in the friendly Cricket match played between the I year and II year students. Shri. Mohan Manghnani, Managing Trustee and Chairman of New Horizon Educational Institution, gave away the medals and the Overall Championship Trophy.

ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATION
New Horizon College for Women celebrated the Annual Day with great pomp and show on January 10, 2008. Students were rewarded for their academic excellence and creative talents. Shri. B. P. Manghnani Memorial Award, which carries a cash prize and a certificate, was awarded to Ms. Jiji George who secured 537/600 in II PUC and broke the last year’s record. She was also presented with a new ‘Scooty Pep+’ vehicle by Managing Trustee and Chairman of New Horizon Educational Institution, Shri. Mohan Manghnani. Toppers in Individual subjects were also awarded cash prize.
