The Laboratories
The department has a very well equipped and spacious Analog Digital Electronics Laboratory and Communication Laboratory to train the students in practical applications. The other Labs are: Advanced Communication Lab, Digital Signal Processing Lab, Microprocessor and Computer Communication Lab, Industrial Electronics Lab.

Future plans envisage setting up a lab with a 1.8 GHz Spectrum Analyzer, a sophisticated computer controlled antenna trainer and Paraboloidal antenna with a satellite receiver to receive signals from various satellites, fibre optical communication set ups, VLSI & Embedded system lab.

The Training Imparted
Students are provided with the latest technological equipment; software services to be developed as facilitators of knowledge. A highly motivating work environment is provided that inculcates and encourages independent, constructive and creative thinking. Stress is laid on latest techniques in Communication Switching, Wireless & Mobile Communication and ISDN Broadband Network, VLSI & Digital signal processing.
